The Coffee Academy offers a range of coffee making courses from Coffee@Home to Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee.

The first step to becoming a ‘barista’ is ABC of Espresso. Follow this with Advanced Espresso and a Practice Session and you will be well on your way to making great coffee on the espresso machine.

You can now undertake the nationally recognised courses - Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee.

For skilled coffee makers we are offering three courses:

If you just love coffee we have Coffee@Home.

If you are planning a function the coffee academy is a great location and we can cater and incorporate some interesting, interactive and informative coffee sessions to suit your needs.

 


Palate Training and Sensory Analysis of Coffee

Using techniques developed for the wine industry and with wine and coffee experts, this workshop is designed for roasters, baristas and serious amateurs to learn and appreciate flavours and aromas found in coffee.

Day one will focus on training your palate to identify different tastes, flavours and aromas.

Day two is devoted to tasting a range of coffees to show the effects of plant variety, growing region, processing and roasting techniques on the final flavour.

$600.00 (includes lunch, morning and afternoon coffee both days).
